Still Life
A still life photo incorporates an arrangement of inanimate (or mostly inanimate)
elements as the subject.
Still life photography presents excellent opportunities to explore many aspects of the photographic craft, including managing light and shade, exposure and composition. Subjects for still life photographs are often portable, to facilitate control of composition but fixed objects also make suitable subjects. Neutral backgrounds are ofter employed to remove distractions from the main subject but appropriate backgrounds can contribute context for an object. |
