Face
Russian psychologist Alfred Yarbus' research into viewer eye movement when looking at a picture, in the 1950s, revealed that people's attention is drawn primarily towards human faces, then people and other members of the animal kingdom, then other areas of high contrast and fine detail. Consequently, the human face presents an excellent subject for photography. shown below. |
